Scorpion to face Romeo for title at Gauntlet

After winning a brutal fatal four way match at Mega Slam II Buckley’s own Scorpion
was informed that his already scheduled match against B.P.W Wales Champion Mick Romeo at Gauntlet (sept 27th) would now be a title fight!

This news was cheered by the packed Connah’s Quay crowd who , like many Basix fans, want a Wales Champion who unlike Mick Romeo from Grismby, England shows the title some respect - after his victorious title defence against Jason Rotanda Romeo was seen rubbing the title belt against his crotch.

Vicious and Delicious join the title race

Two more B.P.W heavyweights joined Daz Danger in the running for the title at Mega Slam II as both Iron Man Mike Roberts and U.K Dominator won their places in the tournament by beating fan favourites Jonny Rose and Dylan Roberts in a tag match.

Whilst both men, who have tagged together as Team Demolition for many years, seem
happy with their victory it does mean that there is a chance, should they be drawn together in the knockout stages, that they will have to face each other for the first time to progress to the title.

With his place in the fight for the BPW heavyweight championship secured Mr Danger is offering any of the 'young bucks in the locker room' a chance to face him in the ring - will there be any takers?

Danny Valentine, Scorpion, Bobby Price and the Revenant square up in a Fatal 4 way.

Welsh Warrior Dylan Roberts partners Wrestling Legend Jonny Rose to take on Team Demolition (Iron Man Mike Roberts and the U.K Dominator).

Another Heavyweight Super 8 contender will be found in the Over The Top Rope Battle Royale.

BPW Wales Champion Mick Romeo goes one on one with Scotland’s Jason Rotunda.

Danger takes first title spot

Basix Fans got one step closer to seeing a new B.P.W
Champion crowned this past Sunday at ‘Chained’ as the over
the top rope rumble ended with Daz Danger standing victorious.

Danger’s big win means he’s now the 1st of eight contenders
for the vacant B.P.W heavyweight title. More contenders will
be found over the coming weeks with the winners going head
to head in a special event planned for later this year.

Scorpion 'locks' comback victory

It seems that Scorpion’s word is indeed his bond as the stormed
to victory at CHAINED bringing a world of hurt to Russia’s Red
Ivan. The man from Moscow was more than a little upset when
the scheduled ‘grudge match’ was made ‘no disqualifications’ just
seconds before the bell sounded. With weapons now permitted
all manner of foreign objects found their way into the ring and
were used with brutal effect but in the end Red Ivan fell to the
most punishing of the weapons in Scorpion’s arsenal -

Once the Scorpion’s signature submission hold was in place
Red Ivan had no choice but to ‘tap out’ and submit. Watch out
all you B.P.W SuperStars - Scorpions back!!!

Valentine bloody but not beaten

When Danny Valentine agreed to the stipulation made by Iron Man
Mike Roberts that their match be a steel chain match some felt the
result was a foregone conclusion. But the Iron Man (B.P.W’s chain
match specialist) had underestimated the awe inspiring fortitude of
The young man from Connah’s Quay.

It was clear that is wasn’t just the Fans that wanted to see these
two SuperStars settle their differences as the entire B.P.W locker-
room emptied onto the balcony of the arena to watch as well!!!

After a intense back and forth from both men Valentine (just as
Roberts had promised in his comments in the run up to CHAINED)
aas bloodied and battered but still fighting. It was then that
Roberts began his ‘dirty tactics’. In a whirlwind of foul play Roberts
‘accidentally’ knocked out the referee, with the referee downed
and so unable to disqualify him Roberts removed the strap that
connected the chain and set about Valentine, beating him senseless.
Spurred by the audiences cries for justice the ring announcer even
climbed onto the ring apron to try and stop the chaos only to be
cold-cocked by the Iron Man’s right hook and sent crashing back
to the floor below. As Roberts turn to continue his assault on the
Now near lifeless body of his opponent the referee found his feet
and, although seeming more than a little dazed, saw that Roberts
had removed the strapping and disqualified him on the spot.

The disqualification means that, although he have had to be
helped from the ring - Danny Valentine was the winner.

These two men will probably never be friends, but perhaps for
now they can exist in the same industry.

DDV and Iron Man settle the score

The B.P.W Board of Directors has finally given way
and given Danny Valentine his chance to settle old scores
with Iron Man Mike Roberts this August 2nd at CHAINED.
But Team Demolition’s bully boy tactics have secured
a single clause.... It has to be a match of the Iron Man’s
choosing. We learned within hours of the matches
sanctioning that it would be the Iron Man’s favourite
- THE CHAIN MATCH.
Both Roberts and Valentine will be chained together in the
ring and battle it out until only one man is left standing.
There’s no holds barred and NO ESCAPE!!!

Scorpion to teach Red Ivan "a lesson in PAIN"

We have learned that CHAINED (August 2nd) will see the long
awaited return of the Scorpion. B.P.W fans will remember that
Scorpion sustained a broken foot after being brutally attacked
backstage by Red Ivan when the big Russian first arrived.
Speaking to us earlier today Scorpion said that whilst he was
recovering his mind was focused on just one thing -
REVENGE.
