Valentine bloody but not beaten

When Danny Valentine agreed to the stipulation made by Iron Man
Mike Roberts that their match be a steel chain match some felt the
result was a foregone conclusion. But the Iron Man (B.P.W’s chain
match specialist) had underestimated the awe inspiring fortitude of
The young man from Connah’s Quay.

It was clear that is wasn’t just the Fans that wanted to see these
two SuperStars settle their differences as the entire B.P.W locker-
room emptied onto the balcony of the arena to watch as well!!!

After a intense back and forth from both men Valentine (just as
Roberts had promised in his comments in the run up to CHAINED)
aas bloodied and battered but still fighting. It was then that
Roberts began his ‘dirty tactics’. In a whirlwind of foul play Roberts
‘accidentally’ knocked out the referee, with the referee downed
and so unable to disqualify him Roberts removed the strap that
connected the chain and set about Valentine, beating him senseless.
Spurred by the audiences cries for justice the ring announcer even
climbed onto the ring apron to try and stop the chaos only to be
cold-cocked by the Iron Man’s right hook and sent crashing back
to the floor below. As Roberts turn to continue his assault on the
Now near lifeless body of his opponent the referee found his feet
and, although seeming more than a little dazed, saw that Roberts
had removed the strapping and disqualified him on the spot.

The disqualification means that, although he have had to be
helped from the ring - Danny Valentine was the winner.

These two men will probably never be friends, but perhaps for
now they can exist in the same industry.
